The first of the first, PGDX 2023!

CBZN Perspective brought us a fresh new event last August 18-20, 2023, at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, Function Rooms 3 & 4, with The Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX) graced us with its maiden voyage event.

A little bit about CBZN Perspective, they are a group of creative professionals that have global experience within the digital marketing scope. They bring forth a business’s needs and goals and offer an original hybrid of tech and methods in order for their clients to reach their target scope.

PGDX is the very first game development expo in the Philippines. A fresh new take on the gaming convention scene from ESGS and CONQuest to name a few gaming conventions here in the Philippines, PGDX has become a bridge gap for gamers, game developers, and CEOs alike.

With over 27 major exhibitors booths which include the likes of Predator, Ragnarok, Razer Gold, Farlight Games, MSI, Samsung, Rotobox, and Rumble Royal to name a few, and have done their respective giveaways during those three days.

Genshin Impact also held its very first tournament together with Razer Gold with the first-round match-up being between La Salle and Lyceum.

Aside from the major exhibitor’s booths, there were a ton of Indie Game booths with all of them getting time to present their respective games on the stage within the three days of the event.

Tons of streamers and influencers were present during PGDX, and TGS also known as Taipei Game Show was also present during the event as well.

Overall, PGDX was a fresh new take on the convention scene with it being a very well-organized event by CBZN Perspective and its security is well structured.
