The week-long anime convention events in the metro isn’t over until Cosplay Matsuri starts! The three-day event returns too after 2 years of being shelved due to the pandemic.

The function halls of the 2nd floor of SMX Convention center despite having limited tickets was packed with attendees who are eager to end their year enjoying in one of the awaited events for the year. From the artist alley, to the all-stars section of known local cosplayers, up to the booths by merchandize sellers and more content creators gave attendees more than a handful of options to grab loots.

Aside from the hype of programs on the stage, you can see that most convention attendees of the event have returned from to their hobbies and have returned from a very long break. Staff members of Setsu-Ani also saw old friends who they last saw even before the pandemic started.

We also got a chance to interview Cosplay Group New Game+ at their booth at the All-Stars section of cosplayers as a wrap up of interviews of amazing cosplayers for our exclusive segment, Cosplay Spotlight! Be sure to check it out on our Youtube Channel and Facebook Page.

The weeklong hype of events for the anime and cosplay community has concluded for the year 2022. The whole year was a jam-packed year of events for comebacks and reunions. This year was filled with events where everyone can unwind again after being isolated in their own homes due to the pandemic that kept us from enjoying interacting with our friends and loved illustrators, cosplayers and content creators.
