CosMEET 2023: An Unforgettable Cosmic Experience

Cosplay.PH is back again as they brought forth a brand-new event with CosMEET 2023, held at Cove Manila inside Okada Manila in Parañaque City last October 28 – 29.

CosMEET is a new addition to the Cosplay Mania series, adding a new chapter to the organizer’s roster of events following their successful 15th-year anniversary celebration. Cove Manila, an indoor pool venue, is an uncharted territory compared to the usual venues like SMX Manila.

Before CosMEET, Cosplay.PH has been supporting Okada Manila by inviting cosplayers to visit their seasonal activities. Hosting the first CosMEET at Cove Manila definitely brought forth a fresh new experience for the eventgoers during the weekend event.

Excellent performances from both IRiSE (Day 1) and DNE (Day 2), followed by the Trick N’ Trivia segment (both days), interview segments featuring guest cosplayers and performers, and a Cosmic Cosplay contest (Day 2) complemented the picturesque setting of the Cove.

CosMEET ’23 hosted guest cosplayers Jane Yu (Day 1) and Mitchaki (Day 2). Both have had their respective stage interview segments, as well as meet-and-greet sessions over at the All-Star Avenue.

As all the stage segments had come to a close for both days, the event continued till the night with an open karaoke session.

CosMEET 2023 was a fresh take on a new scenery for Cosplay.PH events and they have given an “Intergalactic Cosplay Adventure” to both the event goers. This event coincides with Okada Manila’s Halloween celebration for the younger ones.

Cosplay.PH head Pablo Bairan has expressed their happiness in organizing this event, telling Setsu-Ani that they hope to have an encore of this in the future.
