Cosplay.PH graces us with their biggest and most anticipated, fourth installment of the “Chronicles of Cosmania” series! This year Cosplay Mania (CosMania/CosMa) 2024 celebrated their 16th anniversary at Halls 1-4 of the SMX Convention Center, Mania last October 4 to 6, 2024.
Let us look at Setsu-Ani’s POV for this amazing three-day event that Cosplay.PH has brought forth to us over the last week.
Event doors officially open at 10:45 AM for all 3 days of the event with the SP Hall opening their entrance at 12:00 PM and the EX Hall starting their respective performances at 1:30 PM for Days 1 & 3 and 1:00 PM for Day 2.
CosMania 2024 Event Highlights
After the events of ACX 2024, CosMania 2024‘s event halls were packed with booths and simultaneous stage events happening both over at the EX Hall and SP Hall for all 3 days as we manage to caught glimpse of Anisong Unleashed during Day 1, Geo Hunter, Multiverse Wrestling Unlimited, Dance Renegade, and Ani-One PH‘s special presentation at Day 2, and MiUse Kiss‘s opening performance at Day 3.

Over at the SP Hall panel talks for HoloStars EN members, Octavio and Jurard T Rexford were held on Day 1, Hololive ID members, Anya Melfissa and Vestia Zeta on Day 2, and Malaysian-American voice actor, Su Ling Chan on Day 3.

Aside from the simultaneous stage events happening over the three-day event the respective Q&A segments for Byoru, Taryn, and Lea were held during Days 2-3.
CosMania ’24 wouldn’t be complete without its Cosplayer Attendees as we spotted some of our local PH cosplayers roaming at the convention hall or over at their respective booths or at the All-Star Avenue over three days.

The Long-awaited JAM Concert 2024
The long-awaited JAM/Japanese Anime Music Concert 2024 brought forth six famous and popular J-pop artists to perform for the said 3-day event with kz(livetune) and Chiai Fujikawa performing on Day 1, BRADIO and sajou no hana performing on Day 2, and ASCA and Nami Tamaki performing on Day 3.
CosMeet 2024 Announcements
As CosMania 2024 comes to a close, Cosplay.PH has announced its 5th upcoming event CosMeet 2024 which be held at Cove Manila, Okada on October 26-27, 2024 alongside the announcement of their special guest cosplayer, Thames Malerose.
