Starting the year of the Water Rabbit with a booming success from last year Ozine once more presents ANIME FAIR 2023, this time hosting not just one but THREE events in one convention! Indeed it was such an amazing sight as we roam around Ayala Malls Manila Bay last January 13-15, 2023.
We were not able to take part of the Opening day at the event area however we were able to make up for it on Day 2 and 3. Setsu-Ani is grateful for the opportunity to see the wonderous stages, amazing performances, one-of-a-kind cosplays, and marvelous art!
Kick starting our weekend we were engulfed by the sea of people that are supporting the event itself, from it’s previous success last November AniFair has cemented itself as one of the most memorable conventions to start off the year. As we’ve mentioned this year’s AniFair hosts not just one but three events in one convention! Attendees get to explore Anime Fair 2023 at the Ground Floor Activity Center, as well as to check out Sticky Expo POPUP and Out of the BOX at the 3rd Floor!
All the while we were roaming on the Second Day we had front row sights to some of the most incredible performances for the Anime Singing Contest! Such Talented members of the community have graced the stage and gave us concert-esque feels to such memorable songs in our books. We were also able to spot some cosplayers and artists at the Activity Center, one of the booths we have visited was SNAILROYAL and DONUTOUS, we got to see lots of pastels and arts that will make you flutter!
We were much lucky to be able to see much more on Day 3, as we get to roam more and not just focus on the stage but also at the 3rd floor where we met HUNGHANG FLASHBACKS, SKETCHYGERRY, and DATU DESIGNS!
Throughout the event we were very much tired as the day went on, but it was a weekend well spent as we greet January with a great spirits. As to more events are coming our way In case you missed this event never fear as Otaku Expo 2023 is right around the corner! This coming January 28-29, 2023 at the SMX Convention Center catch Setsu-Ani as we roam the floor and enjoy the convention with all of you!
