AiCon 2024: The Spectacular and ‘OSHI-awesome’ Comeback is here!

AiCon is back with a bang! The much-awaited Anime Idol Convention is finally here, with many surprises and performances that fans are excited to see. The event took place at Eton Centris in Quezon City. The program starts at 10 am and runs until 6 pm, packed with exciting activities and performances that fans won’t want to miss.

The event carries the powerful theme of “COMEBACK”. Brought to us by Pygmalia, AiCon 2024 is a highly anticipated gathering that brings together the most passionate Anime Idol enthusiasts, fan groups, and cosplayers from across the country. The ultimate goal of this event is to shine a bright spotlight on the idol franchise and to reignite the passion and excitement for it. With a larger stage and venue, AICON is determined to give it its all in reviving the idol culture and generating the most intense hype around it.

The talented Korin??? and Naru Kahel hosted the event’s program featuring various activities such as the Mr. and Ms. AICon cosplay competition, AI-Live singing competition, and The Beat Master dance competition.

We had the privilege of speaking with Korin about his experience being part of this wonderful event. He was excited to hear that AiCon was coming back and even more thrilled to receive an invitation to be the emcee instead of just attending as a guest. He loved seeing the audience become captivated and excited over everyone’s performances. As a host and long-time performer, he found it spectacular to witness. Even backstage, he would imagine holding lightsticks for the captivating performances. Witnessing the crowd’s excitement was truly unforgettable!
