As the stage hall opened to the eagerly anticipated Cosplay Up 2024 event at Starmall Edsa Shaw, attendees were greeted with a sight that exceeded their wildest expectations. Despite the limited space of the venue, every corner was filled with enthusiastic attendees eager to immerse themselves in the world of cosplay. The intimate setting fostered a sense of camaraderie among participants, as they bonded over their shared passion for the art form. The energy was palpable as cosplayers mingled with fellow enthusiasts, exchanging compliments, and even engaging in impromptu photo shoots.
The cosplay showdown, a centerpiece of the event, featured a dazzling array of realistic costumes that transported spectators into the realms of their favorite characters. From intricately detailed armor to meticulously crafted props, cosplayers spared no effort in bringing their beloved characters to life.
The organizers had meticulously planned a full slate of activities to keep attendees engaged from the first moment to the last. The host, AllYellow Joshua brought yellow on stage and the gorgeous Lili Ash accompany us during the stage performances and activities. From panels and workshops to interactive games and contests, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The exhibitor booths offered a treasure trove of anime merchandise, kawaii items and great stuff crafted by talented artisans, and opportunities to commission custom artwork from skilled artists.
For those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle, the free games presented by Exosia Project with their booth partners CO-OP gaming Lounge and HappyMarcus Designs provided a welcome diversion from play booth of various consoles of challenging arcades like nintendo, ps4 and ps5 to adrenaline-pumping racing Touge experience, attendees had the chance to test their skills and compete for bragging rights. The inclusion of these activities added an extra layer of excitement and entertainment to the event, ensuring that there was never a dull moment.
One of the highlights of Cosplay Up 2024 was the onstage activities that involved attendees directly in the fun. From YPPEN drawing contests to Jujutsu Kaisen trivia quizzes lead by OnetwentyBPM, volunteers from the audience were invited to join the action and showcase their talents and knowledge in being enthusiasts for all to see.
However, it was during the Yumeshou performances that the crowd truly went wild. As talented performers took center stage to showcase their skills, the atmosphere crackled with excitement and anticipation. From intricate choreography to serenading the audiences, each act was met with thunderous applause and cheers of approval. The performers fed off the energy of the crowd, delivering unforgettable performances that left spectators in awe of their talent and dedication as they also introduced their 2 new members.
