Cosplay.PH returns for their third installment of the “Chronicles of Cosmania” series this year with Anime and Cosplay Expo (ACX) 2024 at Function Rooms 4-5 of SMX Convention Center Manila last July 20-21, 2024.
Let us look at Setsu-Ani’s POV for this two-day event Cosplay.PH brought it forth to us last weekend.
The event doors open for both days at 10:30 A.M., with them letting the con-goers line up early outside the function rooms halls over on the second floor of the SMX convention center. Tons of booths were set up as well as the return of the “Cosplanomicion” freedom wall located at the center of the function hall.
ACX 2024 Event Highlights
Different stage activities were conducted during both days which included Yoshinoya‘s “Gyudon Eating Contest” returning after FanFes ’24 for Day 1, two brand new stage activities “Shadow Play” for Day 1 and “Don’t Skip Intro” for Day 2, and the yearly Solo Cosplay Catwalk, Face Palm The Music, Cosplay Karaoke Encore, Cosplay Auction, and Cosplay Got Talent.
We also got to see some performances from The First Takers and Ni Ko La during both days of the event.
ACX 2024’s Special Guest Cosplayers
Aside from the performances and stage activities, another notable event for both days is Cos Aim‘s and Kuruminさん‘s respective Q&A segments.
ACX ’24 wouldn’t be complete without its Cosplayer Attendees and Special Guests as we spotted some of our local PH cosplayers over at the All-Star Avenue as well as the interactions of Cos Aim and Kuruminさん with their fans at their respective meet and greet sessions during Day 2.

The Long Awaited Cosplay Mania 2024 Guest Line-up
As ACX 2024 comes to a close, Cosplay.PH has announced their upcoming special cosplayer, Vtuber, and JAM Concert guests for Cosplay Mania 2024.
The special cosplayer guest line-up for this year includes Lea, Byoru, and Taryn.
The Vtuber guest line-up for this year includes Anya Melfissa, Vestia Zeta, Octavio, and Jurard T Rexford.
Lastly, the long-awaited JAM Concert special guests will consist of kz(livetune) and Chiai Fujikawa for Day 1, Sajou no Hana and BRADIO for Day 2, and ASCA and Nami Tamaki for Day 3.
